- Carol graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce. She is now working for Remax in Vancouver as a real estate agent. Carol finds herself constantly flustered with the amount of open houses and viewings she has with her clients. To keep on top of things she organizes these events with a day planning book. There has been a few times where Carol has either lost this book or spilt her daily half-cafe latte on some of the important pages. When it comes to her smart phone, Carol has the understanding of calling and texting but not much past those functions. Carol is an environmentalist so she does not own a car. She relies on public transit to get around town.
- Right out of high school Arnold went to a community college in his hometown of Brandon, Manitoba. Arnold put in very little effort and scraped by with a 60% average in his first semester. After realizing that post secondary wasn’t for him he decided to drop out. Arnold is now in his late 20s and works at a gas station. He calls his computer his girlfriend and spends every waking hour outside of work with her. He does not feel satisfied with where his life is going and wants to change.
- George is the CEO of a soft drink company. He grew up in a poor neighborhood and with a single parent. He didn’t study well in high school, but he decided to undergo a huge change and stop wasting his time. He worked harder in college and started his own business after he graduated. Now, he is the CEO of over 140 employees. He is very busy and there are different schedules for him everyday. He wants to become an even more productive man by looking back at what he has done over the day, so he spent 5 -10 minutes to write diary every night. Since writing in his diary does not help him optimize his life more, so he is looking for something else that can make him become more efficient.
- Sharon is in her late 70s. She is a very active elder. She uses most of her retirement life doing outdoor activities, so she is in a very good shape. Out of all the outdoor activities she does, she likes dancing the most. She enjoys her time dancing, because it makes her feel younger. She is also a kind and nice grandmother to her three grandsons. Her grandsons like her very much, and they come to visit her every month. Sharon recently failed her elderly persons driver test. She is very upset and really hopes she is able continue with her hobbies.
